Will you be my flu friend...?

just had a leaflet to say if I catch swine flu I musn`t go to the doctors surgery ,I must send a flu friend instead...what`s the point of the doctor examining my friend when it`s me that`s ill....Have I got to give them the flu first...do we share the tablets...and have we got to share a bed...
