Dress up as a peasant for one cl of school?

we have to be characters from Tale of Two Cities by Charles enss. I have been igned to e a peasant from the book which is set in 1780 France. We are not suppossed to buy anything really but somehow dress up for that bell. Does anyone have an ideas?! Thanks so much!!!! :D
