Can we expect blood in the streets of Chicago?

now that International Olympic Committee voted down Chicago's bid to host the 2016 Games? I know it would make no sense to incite violence to the "man in the street", but since the rioting and looting after Chicago won the World Series, the Super Bowl and the NBA championship a number of years back, I can't even guess how the Chicagoans will react to losing something sports related, as common sense is apparently not part of the equation.
