What does it mean when you see yourself dying / dead in a dream?

i was just listening to Adam Lambert - Mad World when suddenly i remembered a dream i had a long time ago. in my dream, i was lying down next to my living room window, it was night out, and i was sleeping.i felt light, like an empty, almost floating feeling, and suddenly things got pitch black. It was black before, because i had my eyes closed, but this was like pure endless black. a few seconds after that, i felt completely numb, and i could see again. It was really freaky what i saw, i was hovering a few inches above myself, and the me that i saw was an eerie pail white, almost glowing in the moonlight from the window, and i looked very frail and deathly skinny. i'm skinny in real life, but in this dream i could see my bones, yet somehow it was a soothingly beautiful sight =/ kinda weird, anyone know what this is supposed to mean?
