Why are women attention s. What part of being a woman, requires you to get attention.?

the old saying, "attention from men is a womans lifeblood" is so true. this is proven time and time again when non-single women go to the clubs in skanky clothes to "socialise" with girlfriends. everyone knows they are just there for attention, and to turn down men. they r not there to socialise because there is no socialising in a club with loud music playing. also women feel the need to put makeup on, wear skimpy clothes and great shoes for attention. why do they need this attention, people say its to boost their self esteem or ego, but why is it necessary to continually do it. i guess its the same as asking a methhead why she continues to do meth.
